SUMMARY:Indiana Humanities-Campfires
DESCRIPTION:Indiana Humanities is excited to be partnering with the Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) on an all-new Campfire experience! During this event, we’ll use ARI’s new augmented reality technology to both view and discuss the history of the Lawrenceburg area. Our hike will take us to multiple stops that not only engage with the Indigenous history of the Ohio River but also the research and preservation work being done at this archaeological site.\nThe Campfire trek will be co-led by a humanities scholar and a naturalist. Along the way, we’ll stop for multiple short readings that will serve to guide our discussion of the site’s history.
