Kayak Tours

Our archaeological kayak tour is led by an ARI interpreter on the Oxbow Lakes. This tour gives visitors a chance to experience an old river channel of the Great Miami, one that was possibly active when people lived here in the Fort Ancient Period! Learn about the importance of rivers from Precontact periods to today. Spot, learn about, and appreciate wildlife that depend on lakes and rivers for survival. Visitors are encouraged to bring water and wear water-appropriate attire and sunscreen. Kayaks will be provided
