The Archaeological Research Institute hosts a reoccurring event called “Artifact, Rock, and Fossil Identification Sessions” on the second Saturday of each month. These sessions provide an opportunity for local community members to bring in their artifacts, rocks, and fossils for identification and dating by knowledgeable professionals.
Whether you’ve stumbled upon a mysterious artifact, found an intriguing rock, or discovered a fascinating fossil, this event offers a platform to learn more about your discoveries. The sessions take place at the Archaeological Research Institute, a reputable organization dedicated to studying and preserving the past.
Upon arrival, attendees are greeted by a team of experts who specialize in archaeology, geology, and paleontology. These professionals possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in identifying and dating various artifacts, rocks, and fossils. They are passionate about sharing their expertise and helping individuals uncover the hidden stories behind their finds.
The event encourages active participation from the community, aiming to contribute to the archaeological record by recording and documenting local discoveries. By bringing in your artifacts, rocks, and fossils, you not only learn about their historical or geological significance but also make a valuable contribution to the understanding of your region’s past.
However, even if you don’t have any finds to bring, you are still welcome to attend the sessions. The event serves as an excellent opportunity to learn from experts and gain insights into the world of archaeology, geology, and paleontology. The professionals are eager to share their knowledge, providing informative presentations and engaging discussions about the significance of various artifacts, rocks, and fossils.
