The Geological History of Cincinnati: 450 Million Years of Landscape Evolution

The Cincinnati region has been under a vast ocean, subject to the scrapings of multiple huge glaciers, and the recipient of damaging landslides all over the course of the last 450 million years. All of these large-scale events have shaped our current landscape, resulting in direct consequences for industry, city planning, and the environment of Cincinnati. Please join Dr. Brenda Hunda as she takes us in a time machine through these events, uncovering how Cincinnati and the surrounding region came to be and its direct impact on our everyday lives.
