Scouts Program

Event Description:

The Scout Program at the Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) offers an exciting and educational experience for scout groups interested in archaeology and local history. The program allows scouts to engage in hands-on activities and learn from professional archaeologists while completing requirements for different badges in the BSA and Girl Scouts.*

Throughout the program, scouts are paired with knowledgeable archaeologists who provide valuable insights, answer questions, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The Scout Program offers a unique combination of education, hands-on experiences in the field and lab, and interactive experimental archaeology, creating a memorable and enriching experience for scouts interested in history, archaeology, and cultural preservation.

To book, use the “Book Experience” option to your right. For any questions, reach out to Samy Norris at samy@exploreari.org.

*Please note there are currently no BSA-certified Merit Badge counselors at the Archaeological Research Institute.
