Happy Hour History: Dr. Bill Kennedy

ARI’s Speaker Series is a fun, welcoming way to spend an evening learning something new and connecting with your community — and this month, Dr. Bill Kennedy brings the fascinating history and mystery of the Great Serpent Mound Site to Lawrenceburg. Held monthly at ARI’s Base Camp at 126 W. High Street, these events are designed to be relaxed, engaging, and accessible for everyone.
Doors open at 5:30pm so you can arrive early to enjoy appetizers and drinks from Hoosier IceHouse, mingle with fellow attendees, and meet the ARI team. The talk kicks off at 6:30pm, when Dr. Kennedy will share his research, stories, and insights on the Great Serpent Mound, followed by time for questions and conversation. We wrap up by 8:00pm — an easy, enjoyable weeknight outing that’s over before you know it.
Whether you’re curious about history, science, or the world around you, the ARI Speaker Series is your chance for an inspiring night out right in your own community.
