This month’s ARI Speaker Series features JeMiah Israel, who will present on the historic Dinsmore plantation and the complex dynamics between enslaved people and enslavers. Held monthly at ARI’s Lawrenceburg office (126 W. High Street), the Speaker Series is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and accessible. Doors open at 5:30pm, giving you time to enjoy snacks and drinks, connect with fellow attendees, and meet the ARI team.
The presentation begins at 6:30pm with a short introduction, followed by JeMiah’s talk, audience Q&A, and open discussion. We wrap up by 8:00pm, making this an easy, enriching weeknight event for anyone interested in history, archaeology, community education, or cultural storytelling.
