Pumpkin S.T.E.M

Join us at the Carriage House Farm near Shawnee Lookout in Mt. Nebo for the inaugural “Pumpkin STEM” event, hosted by the Archaeological Research Institute (ARI). This grassroots fundraising and educational event offers a unique blend of history, science, and hands-on fun for all ages. Visitors will have the opportunity to hurl their pumpkins using a trebuchet, participate in experimental archaeology activities, watch live flint knapping demonstrations, and explore vendor booths featuring local artisans. The event will highlight how archaeology integrates with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), providing an engaging way for attendees to learn about the field while supporting ARI and Carriage House Farm. Delicious food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

Tickets will range from $10-$25 and will be available for pre-sale at the end of September. Tickets can also be purchased day of event.
