Archaeology Workshops

Need to beat the heat? Come to our Base Camp on Walnut Street in Lawrenceburg for some workshops on archaeology and local history. 10 am and 12 pm: Join us for an introduction to archaeology talk to learn about how ARI is exploring and researching the area to preserve local history and educate the public. 11 am and 1 pm: Modern Archaeological Site – use your skills of observation and interpretation to describe an archaeological site from 2023! You’ll get a new understanding of how archaeologists use the “stuff” people leave behind to weave together their stories.

The event is finished.
