Pat Trader, Senior Principal Investigator with Gray and Pape, will be providing an update on archaeological investigations conducted at the Kreitzer site (12VG2104) in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. In August 2024, he presented preliminary findings to ARI. At that time, it was our understanding that the site was a single component Yankeetown phase (AD 700-1200) occupation. However, following analysis, we also identified a Mississippian Angel phase occupation at the site. This presentation will discuss post-field results of artifact and other special analyses.
